The Kehillah of Old York Road is a partnership of (20) synagogues, educational and
social service agencies working together to strengthen the Jewish community of the Old York
Road corridor. Organized in 1998, the Kehillah (which means "community" in
Hebrew) is a project of the Jewish Outreach Partnership and the Jewish
Federation of Greater Philadelphia. The Kehillah offers information, programs
and special events designed to increase interest and participation in our
vibrant Jewish community, providing a vehicle for dialogue and collaboration
among our many constituent parts. Whether at an event for children at our local
bookstore, a kosher food tasting, an educational seminar or in our synagogues,
there are many opportunities for involvement. For further information call the Kehillah office at 215-635-0557 or visit us at
our website, www.jewishphilly.org/oldyorkroad
