Welcome to the Philadelphia Center City Jewish Community!

We are very proud of what our community offers and look forward to sharing our efforts with you! Center City Philadelphia serves a richly diverse and highly stimulating Jewish population, and the Center City Kehillah (which means "community" in Hebrew) actively welcomes any and all to come and join us. The Kehillah honors the varied lifestyles and backgrounds of our community, and we strive to offer opportunities for all Jews and all Jewish families to engage in relevant and meaningful Jewish experiences and relationships. So, whether you are interested in Jewish learning, issues around family, the arts, meeting other people, etc., we are here to help connect you!

The Center City Kehillah is a collaborative effort among (13) synagogues, cultural and community service agencies in Center City Philadelphia. Organized in 1998, the Kehillah is a project of the Jewish Outreach Partnership and the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia. For further information, call the Center City Kehillah office at 215-627-0463.
